Tropical Storm Fred expected to produce 60 mph winds before striking Florida Panhandle

Tropical Storm Fred, currently producing top winds of 50 mph, is expected to strengthen and make landfall somewhere on the western Florida Panhandle Monday afternoon or evening, according to the 8 a.m. advisory from the National Hurricane Center.
