High levels of COVID still circulating in Florida: new BA.4.6 is spreading quickly

A new omicron subvariant is increasing its presence in Florida: BA.4.6. So far, it does not appear more contagious. While case levels remain high, there has been a slight drop off in new infections in the past week.
