Pete Antonacci, the Republican sent in to clean up Broward’s elections office after years of problems under former Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes, has been chosen by Gov. Ron DeSantis to head his new state elections investigation office. He’s had several high-profile roles in South Florida. Besides an appointment as Broward supervisor of elections, he was an appointed Palm Beach County state attorney, and served as executive director of the South Florida Water Management district.
