In the 40 years since local activists founded the Dolphin Democrats, the LGBTQ political club has became an influential political organization in Broward County whose support is now coveted by straight politicians. While lauding the advances and crediting their predecessors, today’s Dolphin Democratic leaders said the club is just as essential in 2022 as it was in 1982.
