Disturbance in east Pacific not expected to threaten South Florida, but rain is still coming

A disturbance in the east Pacific, close to the area where Hurricane Agatha traveled and eventually crossed over to the Atlantic to become Tropical Storm Alex, isn’t regarded as a threat to South Florida. But South Florida is still under a flood watch until at least midnight Friday, the National Weather Service Miami said.
