Cuban-American activists have demanded cancellation of a Friday night concert by the acclaimed Cuban salsa band Los Van Van. Pembroke Pines, which owns the venue where the band will perform, said the show will go on. The city has also approved a protest permit for those opposed to the concert at the City Center.
