Nikki Fried calls for ‘housing state of emergency,’ wants to double homestead tax exemption

If elected Florida governor, Nikki Fried promises to declare a “housing state of emergency” to go after landlords for price gouging and to push for doubling the homestead property tax exemption on owner-occupied residential property in Florida.
