Goliath grouper fishing ban lifted in Florida for first time since 1990

Up to 200 goliath grouper can be taken per year, after a vote by the Florida wildlife commission, in a decision that came with a long list of restrictions that reflected the giant fish’s popularity and its vulnerability to overfishing.
