Sheriff: Florida cop faked COVID-19 illness, stole coworkers’ sick days while at new job

Coworkers of a Florida sheriff’s detective donated hundreds of their sick-leave hours to her, believing she was severely ill with COVID-19, but she was faking the illness and was actually working at a new full-time job, authorities said.
