Tropical Storm Nicholas could bring up to 20 inches of rain along U.S. Gulf Coast as watches and warnings extend

Tropical Storm Nicholas, which formed Sunday, could produce swells of 2 to 4 feet and 5 to 10 inches of rain, with isolated amounts of 20 inches possible, along the U.S. Gulf Coast, including coastal Texas and Louisiana, forecasters said.
